Hanging Wet Felted Nesting Bird Pod

Hanging Nesting Wool Bird Pod handcrafted with all natural materials.

This Nesting Pod has been wet felted by hand with all natural materials using 100% wool and sheep locks. The pod itself is light weight yet rain resistant due to the strong nature of wet felted wool.

The pod can be hung in either two ways - Using the driftwood stick with a natural jute strap or the jute strap can be passed through a felted loop at the top of the pod then looped over a tree branch or hook. I can also offer a different driftwood stick per customer request.

Birds routinely need a perch at the opening - I’ve shown the pod without a wood stick perch or a grapevine ring but either one can be easily attached per customer request.

Size of Pod:
Length of driftwood stick: 17 inches
Length of the loop strap for hanging: 35 inches.
Length of the body including to felted loop: 15 inches.
Diameter of the body: 15 inches.
